Victor Crouin secured an impressive victory at the Texas Open, producing a confident display to defeat fellow Team Dunlop player Diego Elias 3–1 in the final and claim the title.

Crouin found his best form in the final and not only defeated Elias for the very first time in his career but also claimed a Gold event title for the first time as well.

This win has seen him rise to the highest ranking of his career to date as he jumped two places to reach World No.5!
